A native of Columbus, Indiana, Dave Seal was a three-time NCAA All-America in gymnastics and twice won the still rings competition.

Dave holds the distinction of being the first Indiana State athlete to win a University Division I National Championship.  He won the still rings in 1970 and 1972, and was third in '71 and eighth in '69. Three times he was Indiana State's "Most Valuable Gymnast" for Coach Roger Counsil's great teams.

A 1972 ISU graduate in Business, Dave was honored as the I-Men's Club Outstanding Athlete and also won the Hillman Award for excellence in athletics, scholarship, and loyalty.

Dave has returned to his native Columbus, where he was a member of the 1968 Columbus High School State Championship Gymnastics Team and won the still rings competition.  He is the owner/manager of The Sports Center, a sporting goods store in Columbus. Dave and his wife Jane have two children.
