Curtis Williams began his Indiana State tennis career as a walk-on and finished as one of the best tennis players in Sycamore history. Williams played for ISU from 1974-77, and became the first ISU tennis player to qualify for the NCAA singles championships in 1975. He also qualified for the NCAA doubles national championship in 1975 and advanced to the NCAA singles championship again in 1977.
 
Williams was the McMillan Memorial Award Winner for outstanding leadership following the 1977 season.

He is currently a team leader of Subaru Automotive and resides in Lafayette, Ind.
