Indiana State Athletics and the Sycamore Athletic Fund have announced the establishment of the Investor Society, a new philanthropic leadership society dedicated to empowering Indiana State University student-athletes to excel in competition, in the classroom, and in life.
With collegiate athletics rapidly evolving, generating revenue is more critical than ever to provide our student-athletes with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. The Investor Society is Sycamore Athletics’ game plan for long-term success with a focus on three key priorities:
- Enhancing the total operating budget to strengthen all athletic programs.
- Investing in facility improvements for championship-level preparation.
- Building a sustainable future for generations of Sycamores to come.
“The Investor Society will be vital for us as we continue to elevate our 15 athletic programs and over 400 student-athletes,” said Nathan Christensen, Director of Athletics. “Philanthropic support is a major reason athletic programs continue to be successful. This society and its members will help provide what we need to excel and compete for championships at the highest level within our conference and nationally.”
Gifts can be directed to the following areas: Sycamore Athletic General Fund, capital projects, sport specific funds, athletic scholarships, and Crossroad of Champions NIL.
Membership in the Investor Society starts at $25,000, and gifts can be pledged over a period of up to five years. Your philanthropic donation supports the mission of Indiana State Athletics. This premier recognition program celebrates Investor Society members by providing unique stewardship opportunities designed to create a deeper connection with Sycamore Athletics through exclusive experiences.
“As we look to build on the legacy and tradition of Sycamore Athletics, Investor Society members will have a direct impact on shaping the future of our athletic programs and our University,” said Tyson Baldwin, Associate Athletic Director of Development. “We look forward to strengthening the ties between our loyal alumni, fans, and the Terre Haute community.”
