Lauren Green coupled with seniorÂ
Sierra Hargens to each finish in the top five individually as the Sycamores captured a third place finish overall at the Mastodon Fall Invitational. The event was held at the Pine Valley Country Club which is a par-71, 5,860-yard layout.

Green enjoyed a solid final day with a one-over-par round of 72 which followed marks of 80 and 77 on Monday for a total of 229 which put her in third place. This is the third consecutive tournament in which Green has finished inside the Top 5.

Hargens posted rounds of 77 and 79 on Monday and then came back with a score of 76 in the third and final round to post a score of 232 which was good enough to tie for fourth place.

The Sycamores score of 308 in the third round was the second-best amongst the seven team field. That followed scores of 319 and 314 over the first two rounds for a total of 941 and a third-place finish. Green Bay won the event by eight shots over the Sycamores with rounds of 306, 307 and 320 for a total of 933. Central Michigan's scores of 313, 312 and 315 just edged the Sycamores by a shot in the race for tournament runner up with the Chippewas finishing with a total of 940.

ISU was 14 shots ahead of Taylor with scores of 321, 327 and 307 for a total of 955. Host Purdue Fort Wayne was fifth with a score of 956 while Bowling Green was sixth at 965 and Oakland rounded out the field with a score of 979.

Alex Jennings completed the tournament with a score of 81 which was coupled with her cards of 80 and 77 on Monday for a total of 238 and a tie for 12
th place.Â
Kayla Ryan finished with an 80 as she shaved a stroke off her score each round as she posted scores of 82 and 81 on Monday for a total of 243 and tie for 21
st place. FreshmanÂ
Kristen Hobbs enjoyed scores of 82, 83 and 80 for a total of 245 which was 25
th.

Playing as individuals, freshmanÂ
Chelsea Morrow posted a pair of 81's on Monday and then an 80 on Tuesday for a total of 242 which was tied for 19
th place.Â
Madison Branum was tied for 33rd place after posting an 84 in the morning and coming back with an 82 in the evening on Monday and following that up with an 84 on Tuesday. Branum finished with a total of 250.

Central Michigan's Claudia Salvador won individual title race with a score of 221 after posting an even par score of 71. Her total of 221 edged Green by just eight shots for medalist honors.

ISU concludes the fall schedule with their annual trip to Southern Indiana on Monday and Tuesday, October 21 & 22 for the Charles Braun Intercollegiate – hosted by Evansville.
