SILVAS, Ill. – Indiana State women's golf concluded their 2025-26 season at the MVC Championships held at the TPC Deere Run golf course.
The Sycamores wrapped up the season in ninth place with an overall score of 961 (+97, 323-317-321). The team wrapped up the season averaging 313.62 per round.
Alana Gilbert led the Sycamores tying for 21st, finishing +21 (238, 77-82-79). The sophomore recorded her first collegiate birdie in the final round on Tuesday on hole nine, only one of three eagles in the tournament. She finished with 30 total pars, only three away from tying the leader for most pars.
Senior
Yang Tai was the second-lowest finisher for the Sycamores, tying in 27th with a score of +26 (242, 84-74-84). She finished her senior season averaging 77.23 and 79.0 throughout her entire collegiate career in 79 total rounds.
Sophomore
Gabby Cone placed tied for 30th carding a 243 (+27, 80-80-83). Junior
Sophia Florek with a score of +34 (245, 82-83-80). Junior
Rosalie DiNunzio tied in 41st with a +34 (250, 90-81-79).
The conclusion of the MVC Championship also marked the end of the collegiate career for senior
Eliza Baker.
