Biography
2019-20: Was third on the team with a 79.8 strokes per round average ... Her season-best score of 74 came during the second round of the opener at the Redbird Invitational ... Recorded a Top 20 finish with rounds of 75, 74 and 75 for a total of 224 which tied her for 15th place at Illinois State ... Fnished in a tie for 27th place at Butler with rounds of 80, 79 and 83 for a total of 242 ... Posted a final round of 80 as she shaved a stroke off her score each round as she recorded scores of 82 and 81 on Monday for a total of 243 and tie for 21st place at the Mastodon Fall Invite ... Tied for 22nd at the Charles Braun Intercollegiate at Evansville with around of 81 ... Improved each day at the Kiawah Island Spring Classic as she began with an 80, followed that up with a 79 and finished with a 77 for a total of 236 which was tied for 157th place.
2018-19: Was third on the team with a 79.9 strokes per round average which came over 10 events and 25 rounds of golf ... Recorded one Top 10 and three Top 20 finishes ... Low round of 74 came in the third and final round of the MVC Championship where she also posted scores of 82 and 75 for a total of 231 which tied for 15th place ... At the ISU Spring Invitational, Ryan recorded scores of 79 and 77 for a total of 156 whcih tied for 35th place.
2017-18: Averaged a score of 81.0 over eight rounds of play and notched one Top 20 finish ... Made the lineup at the MVC Championship where she posted rounds of 82, 77 and 85 for a total of 244 and a 43rd place finish ... Her Top 20 placement came at the ISU Spring Invitational where a pair of rounds of 78 gave her a score of 156 and a tie for 14th place.
2016-17: Played in three tournaments and seven rounds with an average of 87.1 ... Season-best round of 78 was in the opener of the ISU Spring Invitational ... Added a second round of 89 for a tournament total of 167 and a tie for 52nd place at the ISU Spring Invitational ... Had rounds of 90, 90 and 85 for a tally of 265 in her only three-round event of the year -- the Loyola Fall Invitational and a tie for 40th place.
High School: A native of North Barrington, Ill., and a graduate of Carmel Catholic HS. Ryan was a four-year varsity starter for Carmel Catholic HS and has been the team's No. 1 player during the last three seasons. She has led the team to three consecutive undefeated conference campaigns and a trio of conference championships. During her senior season, she carded a round of 75 in the conference tournament to help her team break their existing conference tournament score record. Ryan has twice been named MVP and was selected as the SunSports Player of the Month. She started playing golf the summer prior to her freshman year and in her short career competing in the Illinois Junior Golf Tour, Ryan has recorded multiple first place finishes. She is a multi-sport athlete as she also played basketball and soccer at Carmel Catholic. A four-year member of the National Honor Society, she boasts extensive community service work with the Catholic Heart Work Camp, peer ministry and as a retreat leader.
Personal: She is the daughter of Sue and Kevin Ryan and has three siblings: an older sister Courtney, and older brother Kyle and a twin brother Cody. She plans to major in exercise science and then pursue a master's degree in occupational therapy.
