The Indiana State women's golf team will look to continue to ride the wave of momentum from a third place finish at the Butler Fall Invitational last week as they travel to the Mastodon Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, October 14-15. The event is being held in Fort Wayne, Ind. at the Pine Valley Country Club which is a par-71, 5,860-yard layout.

At Butler, the Sycamores finished third in the eight team field and were led by sophomore Lauren Green who has posted back-to-back top 5 finishes in Indiana State's last two tournaments. She posted a career-best tie for fifth at the MVC Fall Preview and topped that last week with a tie for fourth in Indianapolis. Green is ranked the 19th best golfer in the league according to GolfStat with a 77.0 stroke average. Sierra Hargens ranks 31st as she is averaging 78.11 shots per round.

Joining the Sycamores in the field are host Purdue Fort Wayne, Central Michigan, Oakland, Bowling Green, Green Bay and Taylor.

The 54-hole tournament will be played in two rounds on Monday and then the third and final round of Tuesday. There will be a 9 am (ET) shotgun start on both days. Live stats can be found via a link at the top of this article or on Golfstat.com.
