TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State is set to host the Blue-Gray Meet this weekend starting off the 2024-25 women's swimming and diving schedule as the Sycamores announced the full schedule slate on Tuesday afternoon.
The Sycamores will open the year with the annual Blue-Gray Meet at the Vigo County Aquatic Center set to start off at 6 p.m. Indiana State will also host Eastern Illinois on October 18, Southern Illinois and Indianapolis in a tri-meet on January 10, as well as Butler and Ball State on February 7 to highlight the home schedule.
Indiana State opens up the regular season on October 4 in Normal, Ill. as the Sycamores travel to take on Illinois State in a dual meet. The Sycamores return to the Vigo County Aquatic Center on October 18 for a dual meet against Eastern Illinois, before wrapping up the first month of the season in Champaign, Ill. for a tri-meet with Illinois and Vanderbilt.
The Sycamores remain on the road for the remainder of the calendar year. Indiana State travels to Toledo (Nov. 8) and Eastern Michigan (Nov. 9) to start November, before the diving team heads to Carbondale, Ill. on November 14-15 to take on the field at the A3 Invite. The team comes back together for the Miami (Ohio) Invite over December 5-7, before making their longest trip of the season down to Fort Myers, Fla. for a meet against Florida Gulf Coast, UNC Asheville, and Tulane.
Indiana State is back at home to start the new year on January 10 with a tri-meet against Southern Illinois and Indianapolis. The Sycamores travel to the Tim Welsh Classic hosted by Notre Dame on January 24, before closing out the regular season on February 7 at the Vigo County Aquatic Center with Senior Day against Butler and Ball State.
The 2025 Missouri Valley Swimming and Diving Championships is set to be held in Waukee, Iowa over February 26-March 1. The CSCAA National Invitational Championship is in Ocala from March 13-15, while the NCAA Diving Zone Cs will be held in Columbus, Ohio on March 13-15.
