TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State men's basketball's Jaden Daughtry was named this week's GoGo Squeez ISU Student-Athlete of the Week as announced by the athletic department on Monday afternoon.
 
In the Sycamores' lone game, Jaden Daughtry scored a career-high 25 points on the road against the Big Ten's Ohio State. He came in off the bench and finished 7-for-10 in just over 20 minutes on the court, and the sophomore made 11-of-15 from the free throw line, also a career best. Out of his five rebounds, three were on the offensive glass.
 
Daughtry entered the game just after the 16-minute mark and scored seven consecutive points to provide an early spark to the Sycamore offense. His final basket in the stretch evened the game at 15 points apiece against the Buckeyes.
 
Thirteen of Daughtry's points came in the second half as he tried to keep the fight. He converted 7-of-9 from the line and made noise on the rim, throwing down two enormous one-handed slams, which helped the Sycamores cut into the deficit.
 
The GoGo Squeez ISU Student-Athlete of the Week will be announced every week throughout the 2024-25 athletic season.
