TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State swimming and diving hits the road for the second time in the 2024-25 season as the Sycamores make the trip to Champaign, Ill. for the "House of 'Paign" meet against Illinois and Vanderbilt. Events will run both Friday (starting at 6 p.m. ET) and Saturday (starting at noon ET) inside the ARC Pool.
The Sycamores enter the meet coming off a convincing win over Eastern Illinois as Indiana State swept all 14 swimming events in the pool against the Panthers. Indiana State picked up its second consecutive victory of the year with the 205-52 win over EIU.
Kaleigh Kelley (100 Breast, 100 Fly),
Claire Parsons (200 Free, 500 Free), and
Dorotea Bukvic (200 Breast, 200 IM) all claimed multiple individual wins in Indiana State's final home meet of the calendar year.
Gemma Dilks (1000 Free),
Sahara Visscher (100 Back),
Alexandria Cotter (200 Fly),
Alexa Szadorski (50 Free),
Chloe Farro (100 Free), and
Kalli Agapios (200 Back) added individual wins, and the Sycamores swept both relay events to cap the evening's action inside the pool.
Kelley and Dilks both claimed Missouri Valley weekly honors as announced by the conference office on Monday. Kelley (Swimmer) took home wins in all four of the events she swam in, while Dilks (Freshman) dropped times in both the 1000 and 500 Freestyle events in claiming her first conference recognition.

Illinois heads into the meet with a 1-0 mark in dual meet competition after topping Kansas back on October 10, 191-109, inside the ARC Pool. The Fighting Illini took 11 event wins in the meet with Chloe Diner claiming titles in both the 200 IM and 500 Free on her way to claiming Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors.
The Sycamores last traveled to Illinois back in the 2022-23 season, falling to the host Illini 165-135 in dual meet competition.
Chloe Farro picked up the 100-yard Freestyle win, while alums Carmen Alard Vegas (100 Back) and Madie Rutan (200 Back). Indiana State also claimed both relay wins in the dual meet.
Vanderbilt comes into the weekend with an 0-3 mark in dual meet competition after falling to Tulane, South Carolina, and Georgia. The Commodores have also been led by a group of talented freshmen including Aubrey Hull (200 Back) and Emily Constable (100 Breast).
Indiana State and Vanderbilt have not faced off against each other to date.
