SOUTH BEND, Ind. – JaVaughn Moore came one-hundredth of a second from tying his 60m school record Saturday, cruising to an event win at the Meyo Invitational.
Moore ran a season-best time of 6.64 in the event as one of three Sycamores in the finals.
Zoe Sullivan also moved up to third in program history in the 60m hurdles with her semifinal time of 8.42.
Indiana State also got podium finishes from
Kevin Krutsch and
Trevor Thompson in the high jump, while the men's 4x400m team of
Trent Jones,
Wyatt Wyman,
Tahj Johnson and
Cameron Stevens also improved on their season-best time, as the Sycamore relay team finished in 3:12.99 for its best indoor time since 2014.

Sprints/Hurdles
JaVaughn Moore and
Zoe Sullivan had the headline performances of the Sycamore sprints and hurdles group, with Moore winning the 60m and Sullivan posting the third-best 60m hurdles time in program history. Moore's time of 6.64 in the finals was the second-best of his career, and he was joined in the finals by
Isiah Thomas (6.77, fifth) and
Noah Malone (6.80, seventh).
Sullivan's time of 8.42 in the semifinals of the 60m hurdles moved her into a tie for third in program history in the event, though she did not record a time in the finals. The Sycamores also had a pair place in the event on the men's side, with
Daryl Black (8.30) finishing fifth and
Collin Forrest (8.49) coming in seventh.
The 4x400m relays proved to be another strong point for the Blue and White, with the men's team of
Trent Jones,
Wyatt Wyman,
Tahj Johnson and
Cameron Stevens running a season-best time of 3:12.99. On the women's side,
Alysha Bradford,
Iyanla Hunter,
Sierra Long and
Maria Biskopstoe combined to run a season-best 3:54.15 in the event.
Sierra Long was the lone Sycamore on the women's side in the 400m, running a season-best time of 59.87 in the event.
Distance
Wyatt Wyman finished as the top competitor for the Blue and White in the mile with a time of 4:12.59. Wyman was followed by
Jackson Krieg (4:13.12),
Ethan Breen (4:14.24) and
Jason Dworak (4:14.96) in the event.
Cassidy Bagby set a personal record in the mile for the second straight meet on the women's side, coming in with a time of 5:10.51.
Sara Skaff finished in 5:27.68.
In the 800m,
Napoleon Hernandez was the top finisher for the Trees at 1:54.41 while
Jocqael Thorpe clocked a time of 1:54.78.
Jumps/Pole Vault
Indiana State had a pair of high jumpers compete on the second day of competition at Notre Dame, and both of them placed in the top three.
Kevin Krutsch cleared 2.09m (6-09.00) to place second, while
Trevor Thompson finished third after clearing 2.01m (6-07.00)
