TERRE HAUTE, Ind. –
Logan Kidd was named the Assistant Athletic Director for Sponsorships for the Indiana State Athletic Department as announced by Director of Athletics
Sherard Clinkscales on Tuesday afternoon.

Sherard Clinkscales. "His experience working within the development office has prepared him for his new role of working with our sponsorship elements. His relationships and successes will help support and build on the needs and goals we have in place for our department."
Kidd transitions over from the Development Office after serving the past year and a half as the Sycamores' Assistant Director of Athletic Development where he helped maintain a portfolio of over 150 Varsity Club members and prospects.
Kidd will take over the Sycamores Athletic Sponsorship program within the department with a goal of identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding athletic sponsors and prospects. He will also continue contributing toward the fundraising programs and coordinating with major gift donors and prospects.

Over the last two years, Kidd's experience in the development office included securing gifts for Give to Blue Day that contributed to the largest single giving day total in athletics and Indiana State University history ($252K for athletics, over $1M for university) He was also responsible for the oversight and facilitation of a strategic annual donation solicitation process to the Sycamore Athletic Fund. His efforts resulted in raising over $1.5M for Sycamore Athletics in the 2021 fiscal year, the highest total in over 10 years.
Additionally, Kidd was responsible for the facilitation and oversight of Varsity Club benefit gifts and membership guides for over 1,200 members across different giving levels. He has also assisted in the introduction and establishment of the Athletics Tried & True Gala that raised over $115K for Sycamore Athletics in its inaugural year.
Prior to joining the staff at Indiana State, Kidd spent two years at Eastern Kentucky University from 2019-2020 where he served as the Athletics Ticket Manager and a Development Intern.
During his tenure at EKU, Kidd provided oversight of ticket sales and helped increase men's and women's basketball season ticket holder numbers to their highest total in over 30 years. He also helped coordinate and execute alumni engagement events, supervised the ticket office staff, and coordinated new sponsor deals for golf outings and athletics events.
He served as a graduate assistant at Ball State from 2017-19 working in ticket sales and development. Kidd also served two summers as a development intern at Kentucky fundraising for the tennis program in 2016-17.
Kidd graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management. He added a master of arts in sport administration in from Ball State University in 2019.
