TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The men's and women's 1500-meter runners had a solid evening on the track despite several schedule changes due to severe weather in the Tuscaloosa, Ala., area on Friday evening.

A duo of Sycamores put on strong performances in the late-night men's 1500-meter run at the Sam Bailey Track & Field Stadium.
Wyatt Wyman led the charge with a second-place effort in heat three of the event, running a personal-best time of 3:55.61, a best by over 13 seconds. His teammate,
Will Smith, took fourth in the heat by crossing the line at 3:56.22. The Trees placed 19th and 21st, respectively.

Morgan Dyer opened the evening for the Sycamores in the women's 1500-meter run, clocking a personal-best time of 4:44.11 en route to an eighth-place finish in heat three of the event. Overall, the freshman placed 33rd in a deep field of competition. Â

Saturday's events at Alabama are slated to begin at noon ET with the women's discus throw and women's 5000-meter run.
