HOLLISTER, Mo. – Indiana State closed out the 2021 fall season at the Ozarks National Invitational as the Sycamores finished 14th overall in the field to wrap up the 54-hole event.
 
The Sycamores finished with a 969 (+105) score to finish ahead of Ball State (+112) in the rankings to cap their final tournament of the fall.
 
The course played tough for the Sycamores on the final day, but two Indiana State athletes turned in their lowest rounds of the week in the third round. Chelsea Morrow (79, +7) carded her lowest round of the tournament to finish second overall on the Indiana State roster, while Iyoun Chew (83, +11) went three strokes under her previous best score on the week to wrap up the tournament.
 
Lauren Green (+22) tied for 54th in the field following her final-round 78 (+6). The Merseyside, England native posted six bogeys over the final day to finish tops among the Sycamore players in the field.
 
Chelsea Morrow (+25) moved up into a tie for 62nd in the field following her final day 79 (+7). She posted one of three ISU birdies on the day with it coming on the 18th hole to wrap up the tournament.
 
Madison Branum (+25) tied with Morrow for 62nd overall following her final-round 82 (+10). The sophomore also birdied the 18th hole of the day to close out the week.
 
Kristen Hobbs (+33) finished 76th overall to wrap the tournament with a final-round 82 (+10). The sophomore birdied the opening hole of the day to highlight her round.
 
Chew (+39) finished 80th overall in the field as the freshman made the biggest stroke improvement by the Sycamores on Wednesday. The Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia native posted a final-round 83 (+11) to cap the fall.
