SILVAS, Ill. – Indiana State women's golf wraps up the 2025-26 season at the MVC Championship from April 19-21.
About the Course and Tournament
TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill., is a premier 18-hole, par-72 championship course known for hosting the PGA TOUR's John Deere Classic since 2000. Designed by Illinois State's D.A. Weibring, the course can play as long as 7,258 yards. The layout is a parkland-style course with scenic ravines, bentgrass greens, and expansive views of the Rock River. It is open to the public and offers a challenging, high-end golf experience.

Entering the Championship
Senior
Yang Tai leads the way this spring with a 76.85 average. Tai shot in the 80s only once this spring and has been the low player in each tournament for the Sycamores, coming off a T4 finish last tournament in the ISU Spring Invitational. Sophomore
Alana Gilbert follows with a 79.92.
Junior
Rosalie DiNunzio is fresh off her best finish of the season, tying for sixth in the ISU Spring Invitational with rounds of 76 and 77.
Junior
Sophia Florek overall this season is second on the team in stroke average (78.30) behind Tai (76.78). Sophomore
Gabby Cone has consistently bettered her score throughout the spring, dropping from a +33 in the second tournament of the spring (an average of 85) to +16 at the ISU Spring Invitational (an average of 80).
