Indiana State returns off a short lay-off after competing earlier this week at the William & Mary Intercollegiate as they travel to Missouri Valley Conference foe Southern Illinois to take part in the Saluki Invitational on Sunday and Monday (March 24 & 25). The event will be held at the Hickory Ridge Golf Course, a par-72, 6,091-yard layout in Carbondale. The event will consist of 36 holes contested over the two days.

Sierra Hargens leads the Sycamores and ranks 11th in the MVC with a 77.6 shots per round average. Thilda Staubo's average of 78.39 also ranks in the Top 20 of the league in scoring and is second-best on the team.

Indiana State finished 10th at the William & Mary Intercollegiate with Staubo leading the way in a tie for 21st place. Her rounds of 79 and 80 during the opening day were followed with a round of 79 in the third and final round for a total of 238. 

Joining the Sycamores and host Salukis in the tournament will be Purdue-Fort Wayne, John A. Logan College, Nebraska-Omaha, Rend Lake, Evansville, Illinois-Springfield, William Penn, Maryville, Tennessee State, Eastern Illinois, Lindenwood and Valparaiso. The event begins with an 11 am (ET) shotgun start on Sunday and concludes with a 10 am (ET) round on Monday.
