2019-20: Finished second on the team with a 78.1 strokes per round average over 16 rounds of play ... Low round of 74 was during the second round of the Butler Fall Invitational ... Her score of 230 was tied for 12th place at Butler ... In the season opener at the Redbird Invitational, recorded a score of 230 and finished in a tie for 45th place ... 2018-19:Â Finished the year with a 77.5 strokes per round average as she played in 10 events and 25 rounds ... Recorded one Top 5, three Top 10 and 8 Top 20 finishes ... Posted a low round of 71 at both the Roseann Schwartz Invitational in the 2nd round as well as the third round of Ball State Cardinal Classic ... 2017-18: Ranks 16th in the MVC with a 77.48 stroke average in 23 rounds this year. Finished in a tie for 18th place at the MVC Championship with rounds of 77, 73 and 79 for a three-round total of 229 – which was her best conference championship finish in two appearances. Recorded one Top 5 and three Top 10 performances this season … Low round of 70 came at the Butler Fall Invitational – a tournament in which she won on a three-way, four-hole individual playoff after paring the final extra hole. She carded a 71 before her 70 for a total of 141 and the victory.
2016-17:Â Saw action in 11 tournaments and posted 30 rounds during her first year with the Sycamores ... Averaged 79.8 shots per round which was third best on the team and 36th in the Missouri Valley ... Had one top five finish, two Top 10's and three times in the Top 20 ... Low round of 72 came in the second round of the YSU Kickoff Invitational on the opening weekend of the season ... Tied for 46th place at the MVC Championships with rounds of 87, 87 and 85 for a total of 259 ... Finished second in her first collegiate tournament at the YSU Kickoff Invitational with rounds of 75 and 72 for a total of 147 ... Season-best three-round score of 230 came with rounds of 77, 75 and 78 at the Edwin Watts / Kiawah Island Classic and a tie for 86th place in the a large field.
High School: Hargens, a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Kennedy High School, had only two years of experience in the game of golf prior to signing with ISU and qualified for the Iowa High School State Tournament in just her first season. She has been named first team all-conference, all-metro and Most Valuable Player for two years in a row. Hargens won eight of 15 golf tournaments during the summer of 2015 including the Iowa Golf Association Junior Amateur. A well rounded student-athlete, Hargens is also a member of the National Honor Society and a IGHSAU Distinguished Academic Achievement Award winner. She volunteers with the Iowa Habitat for Humanity. Prior to playing golf, Hargens was an accomplished softball player, a sport she began at the age of seven.
