Staubo became the first ever Sycamore to earn Golfer of the Year honors since the award was first given in 2007 … Finished third in the MVC Championship … Captured MVC All-Conference Team … Lead the Sycamores on the year with a 77-stroke average … Scored a one-over-par that lead the Sycamores to a second place finish at the Butler Fall Invitational … Named MVC Scholar Athlete
2017-18
Ranks eighth in the MVC with a 76.18 stroke average in 22 rounds this year … Finished in a tie for sixth place at the MVC Championship with rounds of 75, 76 and 74 for a three-round total of 225 – topping her previous career best of 228 set at the Bradley Invitational last season … Best conference championship finish in three appearances … Recorded three top five and four top ten performances this season … Low round of 70 came in the first round of the WG Fort Wayne Spring Classic in route to a third-place finish and two round score of 141.
2016-17
Finished second on the team and 24th in the Missouri Valley Conference with a stroke average of 78.7 ... Played in all 11 events and posted scores in 30 rebounds this season ... Her low round of 73 came during the second round of the MVC Preview during the fall ... Had one top five finish, two Top 10's and six times in the Top 20 ... At the MVC Championships, carded rounds of 78, 85 and 76 for a total of 239 and a tie for 20th place ... Season-best finish of third place came at Loyola with rounds of 84, 77 and 74 ... Rebounded from an opening round of 84 to post a second round score of 74 at the ISU Spring Invitational.

High School
Staubo grew up in Oslo, Norway, and was an exchange student at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Fla., for four years ... She was a member of the Oslo Golf Club and has been playing golf since she could walk, winning the club championship and 10 other tournaments over a three-year period prior to enrolling at Indiana State ... Staubo played on the Norwegian National Junior team for two years ... She hails from the same town as LPGA professional Suzann Pettersen who was the LPGA Rookie of the Year in 2003.
