COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Indiana State Swimming & Diving team has earned the CSCAA Scholar All-America Award for the fourth consecutive semester, the College Swim Coaches Association of America announced Tuesday.

The Sycamores earned the CSCAA Scholar All-American Award for the fifth time in program history for their academic success in the fall 2018 semester. The award recognizes those programs that earned and maintained a 3.0 grade point average or higher. The CSCAA award is given twice a year following each academic semester.

In addition to receiving the award for the fourth semester in a row, the Sycamores also earned the second-highest GPA in the Missouri Valley Conference, finishing with a 3.56. ISU's 3.56 led Northern Iowa (3.51), Illinois State (3.49), Missouri State (3.48), Southern Illinois (3.47), Evansville (3.39) and Valparaiso (3.19). Only Little Rock (3.58) finished above the Trees.

Hena Hassan and
Megan Schade.
