2018/2019 - Named an MVC Scholar-Athlete...Recorded a personal-best time of 27.71 in the 50 fly at the Magnus Cup...Also recorded personal-best time of 1:05.95 in the 100 back at the Magnus Cup...Raced to career best time in the 50 back at the Magnus Cup with a time of 31.24

2017/2018 - Quickly made an impact for Indiana State during her debut season as a Sycamore...recorded an in season best time of 24.45 in the 50 free while adding an in season best of 53.26 in the 100 free.

Personal- Hena Hassan joins Indiana State from Bettendorf, Iowa. Hassan was a member of the Honor Roll throughout her high school career. She swam club for Lan Four Aquatics also under the direction of coach Demian Werner. During her time with Lane Four she was a state qualifier, sectional qualifier, and future’s qualifier. Hena is the daughter of Syed and Ageda Hassan and has one brother named Omer. Hassan plans to major in nursing.
