TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The 2018 chapter of the Indiana State Swimming and Diving season will close on Saturday when they host the Indiana State Relay meet in the Vigo County Aquatic Center at 1 p.m. ET.
 
About the Indiana State Relay Meet
Saturday will be the second annual Indiana State Relay meet, as the 2017-18 season was the inaugural year for the relays. Last season the Trees placed second at the meet, falling narrowly to St. Louis while defeating Maryville and Eastern Illinois.
 
This season, ISU will play host to Butler, Eastern Illinois, Illinois State, Maryville and Saint Louis.
 
Coach Christensen's Corner
"We've gotten back into pretty heavy training after the mid-season meet and this will be an opportunity to get some solid racing and competition in. It will be a good challenge to try and execute well when we're tired," Head Coach Josh Christensen said.
 
Sycamore Leaflets

• The Sycamores earned a sixth place finish two weeks ago at the Magnus Cup where they defeated Delaware, Indiana University of PA, Saint France, University of the Cumberlands, Youngstown State and California University of PA.
• Alex Malmborg, Marlene Pavlu Lewin, Kendall Hansen and Cierra Campbell broke the school-record in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:28.10.
• Also writing her name at the top of the ISU history books was Vivian Kritikou, who finished with the best time in school history in the 1650-yard freestyle at 17:01.52.
• Freshman Anna Maria Nasiou finished with the fastest time in Sycamore history in the 100-yard backstroke, clocking in at 1:04.42.
• Megan Schade currently leads the Missouri Valley Conference in the 100-yard IM with a time of 58.66 while teammate Martina Marks sits in second at 58.76.
• Nasiou, Schade and Kerry Tepe are currently two-three-four in the Valley in the 50-yard backstroke.
• The blue and white still own a 9-0 dual-meet record after defeating conference foes Evansville and Valparaiso four weeks ago.
