EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- The Indiana State women's golf team will hit the links one more time in the Fall of 2018 as they travel to Evansville for the Charles Braun Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday, October 22-23. The event will once again be held at the Oak Meadow Country Club which is a par-72, 6,032-yard layout and will consist of two rounds of play.

"We always look forward to playing against our friends from Evansville," head coach Greg Towne said. "The weather forecast looks fantastic and Oak Meadow has Zoysia fairways similar to Hulman Links Golf Club. This tournament is a nice opportunity for everyone available to play. For the first time in a while Southern Illinois and Illinois State will be there to play along with the Sycamores, IUPUI, Butler, Valpo and Evansville. This tournament has a great field." 

Indiana State will be joined in the tournament by Butler, Central Michigan, Eastern Illinois, host Evansville, Green Bay, UIC, Illinois State, IUPUI, Northern Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Tennessee State and Valparaiso.

The Sycamores will start the lineup of Sierra Hargens, Kayla Ryan, Sophie Benetti, Thilda Staubo and Abigail Irwin. Playing as individuals will be Lauren Green, Robyn Blanchard, Sydney Parrish (making her Sycamore debut) and Madison Branum.

Hargens was the Sycamores' top finisher at the MVC Fall Preview with rounds of 83, 85 and 76 on the final day. She finished in ninth place. Overall the Sycamores tied for fifth place and their score of 327 in the final round was the best among the nine-team field.

A shotgun start will commence play each day beginning at 11 a.m. (ET).
