SETTING THE STAGE
The Indiana State Sycamores conclude play in the 2014 Continental Tires Las Vegas Invitational on Friday, November 28 when they take on Memphis at the Orleans Arena. The game is set for a 8:00 p.m. (ET) tipoff and can be heard locally on 95.9 FM The Duke as well as online via a link on GoSycamores.com. This is the 119th season of intercollegiate basketball at Indiana State University. The game will be televised nationally by Fox Sports 1 with Justin Kutcher and Bill Raftery on the call. The Sycamores are 3-2 on the season after downing Brown and Austin Peay earlier this week at Hulman Center. Illinois downed the Sycamores on Thanksgiving at the Orleans Arena. Memphis fell to Baylor last night by the score of 71-47 and currently stand at 1-2 on the year.

He was a repeat selection to the MVC All-Bench Team and also was named to the MVC Most Improved Team. Smith led the team with 27 points in the overtime victory on November 14 at IUPUI (79-66). Both Smith (23 pts) and Devonte Brown (21 pts) became the first Sycamore duo to reach 20 points in a game since a road win at Evansville in January of 2014 in the win over Brown.
