State sophomore women's golfer Astrid Parsson has enjoyed a solid June over in
Sweden as she has played in four prestigious tournaments this summer.
Parsson
won the CGK Open earlier this month with back-to-back rounds of 76 and 75. Her
two round score of 151 won the tournament.
She
was 18th at the Skandia Tour Elit Flickor #3 event, which is one of
the premier events on the Swedish Tour. She posted rounds of 78 and 81 to
record a tournament total of 159.
Additionally,
Parsson was second in the Sofiedal Junior Open with rounds of 81-81 and was
fifth at the Skandia Tour Riks #2 of Skane with rounds of 83-81-77.
Parsson
will be a sophomore this fall for the Indiana State Women's Golf Team.
