TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State volleyball's Curry Kendall was named this week's Hannig Construction Indiana State Student-Athlete of the Week as announced by the athletic department on Monday afternoon.
 
Kendall led the Blue and White to a 3-0 weekend at the Purdue Fort Wayne Invitational, picking up Tournament MVP honors in the process. The Sycamore junior averaged 4.08 kills and 1.54 digs per set across wins over Stonehill, Columbia and Purdue Fort Wayne. 
 
Kendall recorded at least 17 kills in all three matches, becoming the first Indiana State player to do so since Kynedi Nalls in 2016. Her 19 kills in the tournament opener against Stonehill tied a career high and were her most in a match since October 2024.
 
Kendall also tallied back-to-back 17-kill performances in wins over Columbia and Purdue Fort Wayne, while her nine digs against Purdue Fort Wayne were a season high and her most in a match since the final match of the 2024 season. 
 
Kendall also added four aces and four blocks for the Trees over the course of the weekend.

The Hannig Construction Indiana State Student-Athlete of the Week will be announced every week throughout the 2026-27 athletic season.
