TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State Athletics announced a record-breaking year in revenue generation, while continuing their success both on the competition surface and inside the classroom as the Sycamores announce their annual report on Tuesday morning highlighting the 2025-26 athletic seasons.

"During the 2025-26 year, we experienced significant growth across nearly every revenue category while our student-athletes continued to excel both in the classroom and in competition. Those accomplishments are a direct reflection of a department that is committed to pursuing excellence in every area."

The Sycamores reached new heights in revenue generation for the 2025-26 year due to the overwhelming support of fans, donors, and alumni on their way to raising over $6 million in all revenue generation areas. The mark is 39% higher than 2024-25 and is the highest total in Indiana State Athletics history.
 
Highlighting this success includes breaking $4 million in philanthropic donations in 2025-26, as well as eclipsing the $1 million mark in sponsorship revenue for the second consecutive year.
 
The Indiana State Athletics Investor Society continued to see growth in the 2025-26 year. The philanthropic leadership society dedicated to empowering Indiana State University student-athletes to excel in competition, in the classroom, and in life grew to 82 members overall in just its second year.
 
Indiana State also saw marked improvement in the Crossroad of Champions NIL fund with involvement increasing by 90% over the past year. Sycamore Athletics also featured the launch of the Rumble and Road collection, while 23 new Indiana State licensees were added over the fiscal year.
 
Inside the classroom, 628 Indiana State student-athletes were recognized on the Athletic Director Honor Roll over the 2025-26 year. Their successes resulted in the Sycamore student-athletes posting a 3.507 cumulative department grade-point average (GPA), marking the fifth consecutive year the Indiana State Athletic Department has posted a 3.3+ GPA and had the Sycamores place third overall in the Missouri Valley Conference Academic Award standings.
 
The Sycamores' success in the classroom was matched by their success on the competition surface. Indiana State finished third overall in the MVC's All-Sports Championship standings with 7.719 points, the third time the Sycamores have finished inside the top three since 2020-21. Indiana State recorded conference titles in women's indoor and outdoor track & field, while the women's swimming and diving program claimed its second consecutive conference title.
 
The revenue generation success and classroom accolades matched Indiana State's successes on the field as the Sycamores posted three Missouri Valley Conference championship titles, tied for second-most among MVC institutions in 2024-25. The Sycamores claimed their second consecutive Valley title in women's swimming & diving, while women's track & field team swept the MVC Indoor and Outdoor Championship meets.
 
Five Indiana State Sycamores received All-American honors in 2025-26 headlined by women's track & field's Rachel Mehringer earning First Team honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Grace Cummings received CSCAA All-American Honorable Mention honors after competing at the NCAA Championships. Football's Kimal Clark, Rashad Rochelle, and Nic Yatsko were all voted to multiple All-American teams following their season in the fall.
 
Overall, nine Sycamores recorded 10 individual awards from the Missouri Valley Conference, including baseball's Carter Beck becoming the second player in program history to be named the Joe Carter MVC Baseball Player of the Year. Head coaches Angie Martin (Track & Field) and Josh Christensen (Swimming & Diving) were honored as their respective conference's Coach of the Year.
