ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Indiana State baseball had five players recognized on the Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Scholar-Athlete team as announced by the league office on Monday morning.
The criteria for the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team parallels the CSC (College Sports Communicators) standards for All-America nominations. To be nominated, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA, both as an undergraduate and graduate student, where applicable.
If a GPA has not been established as a transfer student, the cumulative GPA from the nominees' previous institution must be used. Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing. Redshirt freshmen are not eligible.
Eligible nominees must compete in 75 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 50 percent of the institution's games. Pitchers must have made at least 17 appearances OR pitched 35 innings.

Indiana State opens up the 2026 Missouri Valley Baseball Championships on Thursday, May 21, against a to-be-determined opponent with first pitch set for 4 p.m. ET at Johnny Reagan Field in Murray, Ky.
