TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State welcomes Belmont to Bob Warn Field this weekend for the final Missouri Valley Conference series in the 2026 regular season as the Sycamores take on the Bruins in a three-game series from May 14-16.
Thursday and Friday will feature 6:30 p.m. ET first pitches, while Saturday's series finale will also serve as Senior Day as Indiana State honors the 2026 Senior Class in a pregame ceremony prior to the 2 p.m. first pitch. All three games will be carried live on ESPN+ and 105.5 The Legend.

Missouri Valley Tournament Implications
- Indiana State heads into the weekend tied with UIC atop the Missouri Valley leaderboard with matching 14-7 records in league play.
- The Sycamores hold the tiebreaker over the Flames courtesy of their 2-1 series win over UIC at Bob Warn Field over April 2-4.
- Murray State currently sits one game back in third place with a 13-8 mark in Valley play and travels to Evansville (12-9). The Racers dropped the season series to both Indiana State (1-2) and UIC (0-3).
- Evansville (12-9), Southern Illinois (12-9), and Illinois State (13-11) have also clinched spots within the Missouri Valley six-team tournament field.
- The group of Indiana State, UIC, Murray State, Evansville, and Southern Illinois all could finish anywhere in spots ranging from first to five due to various tiebreakers still in play pending on how the weekend goes.
- Belmont (9-12), Bradley (5-16), and Valparaiso (4-17) fell short of qualifying for the MVC Tournament Field.

- The Indiana State offense features a variety of players sitting among the tops in the Missouri Valley in multiple offensive categories heading into the final weekend of the regular season.
- Mason Roell (.373) is currently fourth in the Valley in batting average and second in on-base percentage (.486), while sitting third overall in slugging percentage at .669. He has posted 21 extra-base hits over the 2026 season with 10 doubles and 10 home runs to go with a triple.
- Carter Beck continues to lead the Valley in RBIs with 54 and runs scored with 57, while sitting fourth in the conference in home runs (13) and second in total extra-base hits (32).
- The Sycamores have three athletes in the top six in runs batted in with Carter Beck (54, 1st), Nick Sutherlin (51, 2nd), and Caden Miller (45, 6th) among the Valley leaders.
- Emil Estrella is also among the tops in the conference sitting second overall with 18 stolen bases to go with a .302 batting average and nine home runs, while also sitting ninth with 41 RBIs.
- The Sycamores lead the Missouri Valley in a number of team offensive categories including doubles (114), scoring (389), home runs (65), extra-base hits (193), walks (244), and defensive double plays (45). Indiana State is also second in on-base percentage (0.388) and second in slugging percentage (.470).
- Overall, the Sycamores' pitching staff have pitched a Valley-high 461.1 innings on the year resulting in a 6.05 ERA with a 402:274 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

- The Indiana State offense remains the standard in the Missouri Valley this season with a .324 batting average with the team second in the league in doubles (47), while leading the conference with 33 home runs and 85 extra-base hits.

- On the mound, Indiana State is third overall in the conference in team ERA (4.58) over 182.2 innings sitting sixth in total strikeouts (151).

- Indiana State holds the 10-2 all-time advantage over Belmont dating back to the inaugural contest back in 2014.
