TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Registration is now open for Indiana State Cross Country and Track & Field's 2026 John McNichols Memorial Golf Outing. The event, which is presented by Riddell National Bank, will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Hulman Links Golf Course.

The event begins with a scheduled lunch at noon. Tee times will be a 1 p.m. shotgun start, with a trophy celebration to follow at the end of the round. Participation includes lunch and drinks.
 
Prices start at $150 for an individual and $500 for a team of four. Hole sponsorships are also available, whether attending or not, for $200, which includes sign recognition at tee boxes. Those wishing to have a team of four and also sponsor a hole can do so for $600.

John McNichols was the longest tenured head coach in the history of Sycamore Athletics, as he served as head track and field and cross country coach for 34 years prior to his untimely death in December of 2016 at the age of 66. All proceeds from the John McNichols Memorial Golf Outing will go towards the John McNichols Memorial Fund, benefitting the Indiana State Cross Country and Track & Field teams.
