Indiana State wrapped up its weekend at the Ohio State Tournament on Sunday. The Sycamores showed resilience in the finale, collecting six hits against the Buckeyes. Morgan Goodrich led the way with two-hit performance, while Annie Waggoner provided a spark with a pinch-hit single that set up the Sycamores' fifth-inning run.
The Valpo lineup has shown significant speed and gap-to-gap power this season, led by a core group of hitters capable of sparking big innings. In the circle, the Beacons' staff has leaned on a mix of veteran experience and young arms who have consistently challenged high-level non-conference opponents.
