D1Baseball – Indiana State's Carter Beck was recognized among the top players in his position as the junior outfielder was listed on the organization's Top 100 Outfielder List on Thursday afternoon.
 
Beck clocks in at No. 79 on the list and is one of two Missouri Valley outfielders to be recognized joining Illinois State's Brayden Bakes.
 
The Carnduff, Saskatchewan, Canada native currently leads the Sycamores with a .327 batting average with team-highs in hits (32) and doubles (8), while sitting second in home runs (4) and fourth in RBIs (20). Beck picked up where he left off in the 2025 season reaching base in 22 consecutive games spanning 2025-26 and currently leads the Sycamores in multi-hit games (11) and is tied for the team lead with five multi-RBI contests.
 
Among the season highlights to date include a three-hit, two-homer game on March 15 against Gonzaga, while adding grand slams against both Miami (Ohio) on February 20 and against Bradley on March 20. Beck enters the weekend series against Valparaiso on a six-game hitting streak with multiple hits in each of the last six contests.
 
Beck and the Sycamores continue the 2026 season this weekend with a three-game series against Valparaiso at Emory G. Bauer Field spanning March 28-30. First pitch in all three games is set for 2 p.m. ET and will be carried live on 105.5 The Legend.
 
Indiana State Baseball Season Tickets on Sale Now
Season tickets for the 2026 Indiana State baseball season are now on sale as the Sycamores head into their second season under Head Coach Tracy Archuleta. The Sycamores will play 21 home games inside Bob Warn Field this season, starting on March 4 against Lindenwood.
 
Reserved chairback season tickets can be purchased for $110. General admission season tickets will go on sale as well with adult ($75), seniors ($55), and youth ($40) tickets also being available for purchase. There will be a $5 surcharge added to those wanting tickets printed.
 
The Sycamores have teamed up with Pacesetter Sports and the Spirit Shop for the third consecutive season for a season ticket deal. Fans will receive a $50 Pacesetter gift card for each $110 reserved chairback season ticket, $35 gift card for each $75 general admission season ticket, $25 gift card for each $55 senior general admission ticket, and $20 gift card for each $40 youth season ticket sold.
