CHICAGO, Ill. – Jecza Lopez swept both the 1M and 3M Springboard diving events on Saturday afternoon as the Indiana State diving team took on the field at the UIC Diving Invite held inside the Flames Natatorium.
Lopez took the 1M title following her six-dive score of 285.05, and then followed up with a 287.20 in the 3M to claim both events in the Sycamores' final tune-up prior to the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Swimming and Diving Championships.
Brenna Woodruff (222.40) and
Sofia Dansereau (217.80) both finished inside the top 12 in the field in the 1M event, while
Bree Cleary (209.10) finished inside the top 15 overall.
Ella Taylor (166.05) rounded out the Sycamores placing 23rd overall in the field.
Woodruff placed seventh overall in the 3M event scoring 228.85 over her six dives, while Dansereau placed ninth in 226.95. Cleary rounded out the four Sycamores in the event placing 19th with 210.45.
