COLUMBIA, Mo. – Multiple Sycamores posted new personal-best marks or made appearances on the Indiana State all-time performance list as the Sycamores closed out the weekend double dual meet against host Missouri and Missouri State on Saturday afternoon.
The Sycamores topped Missouri State, 192-161, and fell to host Missouri, 259-94, to close out the weekend action as Indiana State suited up in the performance suits for the first time in the 2026-27 season.
"I'm really pleased with how we performed this weekend against some very strong competition," said head coach
Josh Christensen. "We had 20 lifetime bests and quite a few new additions or changes to our Top 10 Performers list, which is very exciting. It's early in the season and we didn't do anything special to prepare for this weekend. We've been very in rhythm and on plan with training, and we'll get right back to that on Monday. We're excited to get better from here."
Grace Cummings recorded her second win in as many days as the sophomore topped the field in the 1000-yard Freestyle event (9:49.72) with the fifth-fastest swim in school history. She followed up by winning her heat in the 200-yard Freestyle to place fourth overall in the field.
