TERRE HAUTE, Ind.- Indiana State returns to Memorial Stadium on Thursday afternoon for its final home match of the regular season, welcoming conference-leading SIU for a 2 p.m. Missouri Valley Conference showdown.  The Sycamores enter the contest at 7-3-7 overall and 2-2-4 in MVC play, while the Salukis bring a 13-3 overall record and 7-1 conference mark into one of the league's most anticipated matchups. 

Despite a narrow 1-0 setback against Belmont in its last outing, Indiana State continued to showcase the resilience and competitiveness that have defined the season. The Sycamores battled throughout the full 90 minutes and created opportunities against a Belmont squad fighting for valuable conference points. The lone goal of the match came as a team goal awarded to the Bruins.  The match remained tightly contested throughout, with Indiana State turning in another strong defensive performance and displaying discipline across all areas of the field.

SIU arrives in Terre Haute atop the conference standings with 21 points after a 2-0 victory over UNI. Their success has helped establish them as one of the favorites in the MVC title race entering the final weeks of the regular season.
