TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State Softball has announced its 2026 spring schedule, highlighted by 11 games at Price Field and a challenging non-conference slate to open the season. The Sycamores will compete in a full Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) schedule, beginning league play at home in mid-March.
Indiana State opens the 2026 campaign with an extended road stretch, competing in four early-season tournaments across three states. The Sycamores begin play at the Stetson Tournament from Feb. 6–8 in DeLand, Florida, facing UT Martin (twice), Seton Hall, and host Stetson during the opening weekend.
The Sycamores will then travel to Tampa, Florida, for the USF Tournament (Feb. 12–14), where they will square off against Kansas, DePaul, Yale, Boston College, and South Florida. Indiana State continues tournament play at the Memphis Softball Tournament from Feb. 20–22, taking on Morehead State (twice), Northern Illinois, Kentucky, and Memphis.
Indiana State will make its home debut on Feb. 25, hosting Butler at Price Field before returning to the road for the Lindenwood Tournament from Feb. 27–March 1 in Saint Charles, Missouri. The Sycamores will face Green Bay (twice), Western Illinois, and Lindenwood to wrap up their non-conference tournament slate.
MVC play begins in early March, with Indiana State hosting Bradley in a three-game series from March 6–7 at Price Field. The Sycamores will also open conference home play against UIC (March 13–14), Southern Illinois (April 3–4), Drake (April 24–25), and Belmont (April 28).

On the road, Indiana State will face a competitive MVC schedule, including series at Evansville (March 17), Valparaiso (March 27–28), Illinois State (April 10–11), Murray State (April 17–18), and Northern Iowa (May 1–2).
The Sycamores will also take part in the Ohio State Tournament from March 20–22 in Columbus, Ohio, with games against Ohio State, Campbell, and Louisville. Additional midweek non-conference matchups include road contests at Purdue (March 11), Ball State (April 15), and Illinois (April 21), along with a home game against Eastern Illinois on March 31.
Indiana State will conclude regular-season play with a three-game MVC series at Northern Iowa from May 1–2 before turning its attention to the MVC Tournament, scheduled for May 7–9 in Carbondale, Illinois. The tournament champion will earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
