TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State returns home on Wednesday, August 27, to host IU Indy at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET, with live coverage on ESPN+ and live stats through GoSycamores.com.
The Sycamores (1-2-1) are coming off a hard-fought 2–2 draw at Middle Tennessee. ISU rallied from an early deficit as Anna Chor scored just before halftime and Brooklyn Woods converted a penalty in the second half to give the Sycamores a temporary lead. MTSU equalized late, but Indiana State's attack continued to show promise, creating nine shots and multiple quality chances.
The Sycamores are now preparing to face IU Indy (0-3-0), who are still searching for their first win of the season. The Jaguars are under the direction of new head coach Angela Berry-White and are working to establish rhythm after early-season losses to SIUE, Eastern Illinois, and SIU.
For ISU, the match presents a chance to build on its recent offensive momentum, led by Woods, who has already notched multiple goals this season, and Lehnert, who continues to be a threat up top. IU Indy will counter with a young roster eager to break through and spoil ISU's home opener.
Wednesday's match marks the first meeting between the programs since 2016; ISU leads the all-time series 9-6-2. The Sycamores head back to Terre Haute looking to carry its momentum into the home opener, while IU Indy aims to break through with its first victory of the season.
