TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State returns to Memorial Stadium on Sunday night as the Sycamores make their 2025 home debut against Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with live stats for the match to be provided on GoSycamores.com.
 
Indiana State (0-1) heads into the match looking to bounce back after a tough start to the 2025 season as the Sycamores fell in their season opener on Thursday night in West Lafayette to Purdue, 4-0. Indiana State faced a relentless Boilermaker attack in the contest as Purdue outshot the Sycamores 26-4 in the match with the 14-2 edge in shots on goal.
 
The Sycamores had several bright spots throughout the match as Tori Angelo and Alex Lehnert both made runs on the offensive end, while Lola Minic (six saves) and Delaney Timmons (four saves) both recorded spectacular diving stops in the net.
 
Indiana State continues to feature a balanced lineup with 22 players seeing time overall in the match, while 14 different players recorded at least 40 minutes of playing time. Six newcomers to the Sycamores roster made their starting debuts on the pitch with Mackenzie Mills, Avery Oergel, Riley Mathews, Lola Minic, Jordan Goldstein, and Tori Angelo all opening the competition on the pitch.
 
The Sycamores look to get back on track on the field against an opponent they had marked success against in the 2024 season. Indiana State topped SMWC at Memorial Stadium last season, 10-0, in the opening match of the season setting the tone for a record-setting offensive attack.
 
Indiana State featured eight different goal scorers in the match as the Sycamores held the 42-0 edge in shots and 24-0 advantage in shots on goal. Brooklyn Woods, Alex Lehnert, and Ella Roesch are the returners who scored against the Pomeroys.
