TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State Baseball will hold its annual golf outing, presented by Dorsett Automotive, on Thursday, August 21, at the Terre Haute Country Club.
 
The event is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. with registration and lunch, with a shotgun start on the course set to begin at 1 p.m. All proceeds from the event will support the Indiana State Baseball NIL Fund.

Participation in the event includes lunch and drinks during the event, as well as an Indiana State baseball gift.
 
The event features multiple sponsorship opportunities. The Base Hit ($250) level features a business name on a banner. The Home Run ($800) level features a foursome. The Grand Slam ($1,000) level features a foursome and one hole sponsorship. The Walk Off ($2,500) level features one hole sponsorship, a foursome, and a celebrity golfer.
 
Celebrity golfers in the field will include former Sycamore alums Dick Grapenthin (Montreal Expos – 1983-85), Joe Thatcher (San Diego Padres (2007-13), Arizona Diamondbacks (2013-14), Los Angeles Angels (2014), Houston Astros (2015)), and Nevin Ashley (Milwaukee Brewers – 2015).
