TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State women's golf's
Briana LeMaire was named this week's GoGo Squeez ISU Student-Athlete of the Week as announced by the athletic department on Monday afternoon.
LeMaire claimed the individual title at this past week's PFW Hammock Beach Invitational as the Cedar Park, Texas native shot a two-day 148 (+4) in helping the Sycamores to the team title in Palm Coast, Fla.
LeMaire's 73in the second round was her best round of the spring season on her way to topping PFW's Hunar Mittal and teammate
Sophia Florek for the individual title. The win marked LeMaire's third Top Five finish over her collegiate career, while the team win marked Indiana State's second title of the 2024-25 season – the most tournaments won by the Sycamores in the same season since 2016-17.
LeMaire was two-under on Par 5's on the course and she was even on Par 3s helping secure her first win.
The GoGo Squeez ISU Student-Athlete of the Week will be announced every week throughout the 2024-25 athletic season.
