TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Eleven Sycamore swimmers are heading down to the 2025 CSCAA National Invitational Championship this week as Indiana State swimming & diving continues postseason competition at the Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training facility in Ocala, Fla. over March 13-15.

Gemma Dilks,
Chloe Farro,
Kaleigh Kelley,
Claire Parsons,
Ali Pearson,
Maria Saldana Riebeling,
Alexa Szadorski, and
Sahara Visscher all turned in qualifying times to advance to the CSCAA NIC. The 11 athletes join
Jecza Lopez (NCAA Zone C Qualifiers) in competing in postseason competition this week.
The three-day event will feature preliminary rounds in the starting at 9:30 a.m., while event finals begin at 6 p.m. The distance session and events are set for Saturday and Sunday.
The Sycamores continue their postseason successes after claiming the program's first Missouri Valley Conference Championship two weeks ago at the Waukee CSD Natatorium as Indiana State topped the field to claim the conference title. Overall, the Sycamores claimed six event championships with Parsons (200 Free & 1650 Free) and Lopez (1M Diving & 3M Diving) winning multiple events. Cotter (400 IM) and the Sycamores' 400-yard Freestyle Relay added to Indiana State's titles over the four days in Iowa.
Last season at the CSCAA's the Sycamores have four athletes advance to individual event finals, marking the most in program history.
Dorotea Bukvic (200 Breast),
Ali Pearson (50 Breast),
Kaleigh Kelley (50 Fly, 100 IM), and
Alexandria Cotter (400 IM) all achieved the feat, while the Sycamores' 400-yard Freestyle Relay team posted a Top 10 finish to cap the final day of the CSCAA NIC.
After rewriting the record book in the 2023-24 season, the Sycamores did it again over the course of the 2024-25 competition year. Overall, 20 different school records were set over the course of the season with 15 individual marks and all five relay times going down. Eleven of those records were claimed at the MVC Championships with Farro (100 Free), Parsons (200 Free), Pearson (100 Breast), Cotter (400 IM), and the five relay squads all setting new marks.
The Sycamores put 12 athletes on the MVC's All-Conference First Team with Bukvic, Cotter, Cummins, Dilks, Farro, Halsall, Kelley, Lopez, Parsons, Riebeling, Szadorski, and Visscher all claiming top three performances in A-Finals or competing on a winning relay team. Boles,
