TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Eighteen Indiana State baseball players are continuing their professional careers this season including Colin Rea (Milwaukee Brewers) and Sean Manaea (New York Mets). Keep up with the Sycamores and their season to-date below.
 
Colin Rea, RHP, Milwaukee Brewers
Colin Rea has been a standout in the Milwaukee Brewers rotation over the course of the 2024 season posting a team-leading 12-4 record on the mound, while adding a 3.72 ERA. He's pitched 150.0 total innings with a 122:38 strikeout-to-walk ratio in guiding Milwaukee to an 81-59 record to lead the National League Central Division.
 
Sean Manaea, LHP, New York Mets
Sean Manaea has been the leader on the mound for the New York Mets rotation over the course of the 2024 season posting a team-leading 11-5 overall record with a 3.35 ERA. He's pitched 105.2 total innings with a team-leading 154 strikeouts while adding 54 walks. The Mets are currently second in the National League East Division and remain in the hunt for one of the Wild Card spots
 
Clay Dungan, INF, El Paso Chihuahuas (San Diego Padres Triple-A)
Clay Dungan continues to progress through the San Diego Padres minor league system after being selected by the Padres' organization in the Rule 5 Draft this past offseason. Dungan has posted a .233 batting average over 400 at-bats with seven home runs, 63 RBIs, and 59 runs scored. The former Sycamore infielder has added 23 stolen bases over the course of the season.
 
Matt Jachec, RHP, Lake County Captains (Cleveland Guardians High-A)
Matt Jachec continues to climb the Cleveland Guardians organization as the right-handed pitcher advances in his second professional season. Jachec has been among the Guardians' top pitching prospects over the course of the season posting a 3-4 record with a 4.33 ERA out of the bullpen. He's recorded three saves and six holds over his 35 appearances with 99 strikeouts over 68.2 innings pitched.
 
Connor Fenlong, RHP, Quad Cities River Bandits (Kansas City Royals High-A)
Connor Fenlong has been among the Royals' best relievers over the course of the season posting a 1-3 overall record with a 3.38 ERA over the course of 32 appearances. Fenlong has pitched 48.0 innings while striking out 37 batters, including a 1-1 mark with a 3.28 ERA since making the jump to High-A. He's added four saves and four holds on the season.
 
Luke Hayden, RHP, Daytona Tortugas (Cincinnati Reds Single-A)
Luke Hayden has made three appearances on the mound since getting called up to the Cincinnati Reds Single-A Affiliate. The right-handed flame-thrower has posted a 0.00 ERA over 4.0 innings on the mound recording a save. He's posted a 5:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
 
Randal Diaz, INF, Washington Nationals (Unassigned)
Randal Diaz has not been assigned to a Washington Nationals affiliate as of the time of this post. The former Sycamore shortstop was selected in the fifth round of the 2024 MLB Draft, the highest selection by an Indiana State player since Jeff Degano (Second Round, 2015).
 
Grant Magill, C, Chicago White Sox (Unassigned)
Grant Magill has not been assigned to a Chicago White Sox affiliate as of the time of this post. The former Sycamore catcher was signed to a free agent deal by the organization and continues to work out in Arizona.
 
Tyler Grauer, LHP, Fargo-Moorehead RedHawks (American Association of Professional Baseball)
Tyler Grauer made the AAPB All-Star game midway through the season, but has been on the disabled list as of late. The left-handed pitcher has posted an 8-4 record on the mound over 16 starts. He's added one shutout over 85.2 innings pitched with a 69:20 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
 
Roby Enriquez, OF, Winnipeg Goldeyes (American Association of Professional Baseball)
Roby Enriquez continues to produce at the professional level as the former Sycamore sits among the Winnipeg team leaders in batting average (.296), hits (80), and doubles (18) over the 2024 season. Enriquez has added three home runs, 42 RBIs, and 47 runs scored over the season, while stealing six bases.
 
Jack Parisi, RHP, Hagerstown Flying Boxcars (Atlantic League of Professional Baseball)
Jack Parisi signed with the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars and has made eight appearances and one start with the organization since signing in the beginning of August. He's posted an 0-1 record with a 7.94 ERA over 11.1 innings pitched, while adding an 8:7 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
 
Zach Davidson, LHP, Chicago Dogs (American Association of Professional Baseball)
Zach Davidson has been one of the standouts on the mound for the Chicago Dogs as the left-handed pitcher is in the midst of his first professional season. Davidson has posted a 3-1 record over 10 games (six starts) while adding a 39:18 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 30.2 innings pitched.
 
Brian Fuentes, INF, Florence Y'Alls (Frontier League)
Brian Fuentes has been among the team's hitting leaders for Florence over the 2024 season as the former infielder paces the organization in both plate appearances and at-bats. Fuentes is hitting .275 from the plate with 102 hits, including 20 doubles and 12 home runs. He's added 73 runs scored and 74 RBIs.
 
Adam Pottinger, OF, Joliet Slammers, Frontier League
Adam Pottinger lined up in 16 games for the Joliet Slammers after signing a free agent contract with the organization. The former Sycamore outfielder posted a .294 batting average with 10 hits in 34 at-bats, including a pair of doubles and a triple. He's added six RBIs and seven runs scored.
 
Jarrod Watkins, INF, Lake Erie Crushers, Frontier League
Jarrod Watkins is in his second season with the Frontier League's Lake Erie Crushers playing in 91 games while posting a .251 batting average over 350 at-bats. He's added 88 hits including 12 doubles and six home runs, while driving in 38 RBIs and scoring 48 runs.
 
Dane Tofteland, IF/OF, Rocky Mountain Vibes (Pioneer League)
Former Sycamore Dane Tofteland has been among the everyday players for the Rocky Mountain Vibes over the 2024 season. He's posted a .317 batting average over 297 at-bats while sitting among the leaders with 94 hits, 25 doubles, and 17 home runs. He's added 77 runs scored and 73 RBIs over 86 games played.
 
Will Buraconak, LHP, Grand Junction Jackalopes (Pioneer League)
Will Buraconak has made 12 starts on the mound for Grand Junction over the course of the 2024 season posting a 1-5 record with a 7.56 ERA. He's pitched 58.1 innings for the Jackalopes with a 52:32 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
 
Cam Edmonson, LHP, Ogden Raptors (Pioneer League)
Cam Edmonson made 11 appearances out of the bullpen for Ogden posting a 5.73 ERA over 11.0 innings' pitched. He has posted a 14:8 strikeout-to-walk ratio in his first professional season.
