TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Head Coach Tracy Archuleta and Indiana State baseball are set to host the fifth annual CUREFA Game sponsored by the West Side Nut Club on Saturday, October 19. The Sycamores will host Morehead State in a fall exhibition game at Bob Warn Field set for 1 p.m. ET, with proceeds from the game going to the Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA).

Tickets for the exhibition game go on sale to the public on Monday, September 16, at the Indiana State ticket office. Fans can also purchase tickets online at GoSycamores.com (link here). The ticket prices are $20 for chairback seats, $10 for general admission. The 1 p.m. exhibition game between the Sycamores and Morehead State will benefit the fight against Friedreich's Ataxia (FA), a degenerative neuro-muscular disorder that affects one in 50,000 people in the United States.

The Friedreich's's Ataxia Research Alliance is supporting research that will improve the quality and length of life for those diagnosed with FA and will lead to treatments that eliminate its symptoms. More information about FA can be found at CureFA.org.

Coach Archuleta's son, Sam, is living with this disorder which provides the origin of the game and gives the charitable organization a personal connection to Coach Archuleta and the Sycamores.
