NORTON, Ohio – Emma Gresham earned Indiana State's first all-region honor for women's cross country since 2017 Friday, as the Sycamores wrapped up their 2024 season at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional.
Gresham placed 23rd with a time of 20:10.0, less than a second off her school record time which she set at the MVC Championships.
Erica Barker (20:30.3) and
Brittney Burak (20:33.7) both ran career-best times to place in the top 40, while the Trees finished eighth as a team, their best since moving to the Great Lakes Region.
Morgan Dyer (20:55.5) and
Peyton Smith (21:00.3) rounded out the scorers for the Sycamores, with
Hadley Gradolf (21:34.0) and
Halle Miller (22:02.0) closing out Indiana State's entries on the women's side.
Layton Hall paced the Sycamores on the men's side with a time of 31:04.1, with
Emerson Fayman (31:34.1) and
Ryan Handy (31:35.0) also placing in the top 100 for the Trees.
Jason Dworak (31:51.9) and
Ryan York (32:04.7) rounded out the scorers for the Blue and White, with
Ian Gadberry (32:10.5) and
Isaac Bryant (33.11.3) closing out the Sycamores' men's entries.
