Sycamores announce Richard Goodall to sing National Anthem, perform at halftime at November 7 men’s basketball home opener

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State University Athletic Department is excited to announce that Richard Goodall will be singing the National Anthem at the November 7 men's basketball home opener against Eureka College. Goodall will also have a special performance at halftime.

Goodall, the winner of Season 19 of America's Got Talent, made his mark on American culture earning Heidi Klum's Golden Buzzer in his America's Got Talent debut during the audition round. He advanced through to the finals following his renditions of Michael Bolton's "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You", Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger", and Journey's "Faithfully".

His finale performance of "Don't Stop Believing" with Neal Schon and members of Journey highlighted his AGT journey on his way to winning the Season 19 title.

Indiana State men's basketball is coming off one of the best seasons in program history as Indiana State won the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title and made their first appearance in the NIT Championship Game.
