TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State Sycamores Coaches Show is back this year with a new location. The once-a-month show will be held at
Honey's Bar & Grill at Terre Haute Brewing Company (401 S 9th Street).
The monthly hour-long show, hosted by John Sherman, will air live locally on 105.5 The Legend, home for all Indiana State football and men's basketball games, and select women's basketball and baseball contests. It will feature various head coaches and student-athletes talking about the latest in their programs, as well as discussing upcoming games and emerging storylines throughout the year.
ISU Athletics and the Terre Haute Brewing Company have previously partnered for the "Sycamore Crossroads Cream Ale" which pays homage to a celebration of Sycamore pride, while also promoting the state of Indiana as the "Crossroads of America." The cans feature the ISU school colors and the Sycamore athletic logo.
"I'm excited to continue this partnership by now hosting the Coaches Show within the Terre Haute Brewing Company walls at Honey's Bar & Grill," Assistant A.D. for Sponsorships Corey Clark said. "The Sycamore Crossroads Cream Ale continues to grow in popularity, which is why you see them selling it in more and more stores per the request of the store."
"We're seeing genuine excitement for the Sycamores Crossroads Cream Ale from both customers and retailers," THBC President Michael Costantino said. "The territories where it is being sold has been steadily expanding beyond our home territory around ISU, and the engagement with the brand has moved it onto supermarket shelves. We commonly receive requests from around the country from people looking for ways to find it."
The Sycamore Crossroads Cream Ale will be sold at the Hulman Center and Indiana State home athletic events. Fans can also purchase the product directly from the brewery or at select local retailers, including Baesler's, Seventh and 70, House of Spirits, and Liquor First Seelyville. The Sycamore Crossroads Cream Ale is now on sale in 29 Kroger's between Indianapolis and Terre Haute.
