PROSPECT, Ky. - The Sycamore golf team sits in sixth place after the first round of the Nevel Meade Intercollegiate on Monday at the Nevel Meade Golf Club in Prospect, Ky.

Indiana State scored a 318 through the first 18 holes and sits just four strokes behind host Cleveland State.

Iyoun Chew is playing as an individual and finished the first round tied for eighth with a 75. She was three over par overall but two under on par fives with three birdies on the day, and finished the first round as the top individual.

Chelsea Morrow and
Briana LeMaire led the Sycamore lineup each with first-round 77 to tie for 16th place. Morrow eagled hole two which was a par five.

Kristen Hobbs shot an 81 to tie for 34th while
Molly Lee shot an 83 and
Yang Tai rounded out the lineup with an 87.

Grace Welty and
Eliza Baker each competed as individuals with an 80 and 81, respectively.

Play continues Tuesday with a final round of 18 holes beginning with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. ET.
