GLENCOE, Ala. - Indiana State women's golf placed ninth of 16 at the Chris Banister Golf Classic, wrapping up their week in Alabama.
FINAL RESULTS
The team carded a 936 (+72) with rounds of 303-316-317. The opening round of 303 (+15) tied for the lowest score of the 2025-26 season after the team shot a 303 in the second round of the Toledo Rocket Classic.
Yang Tai was the leader of the Sycamores, tying in 13th after finishing the tournament with a 225 (+9, 71-76-78). She tied for her season low with a one-under in the first round, as she shot a one-under round at the Butler Fall Invitational. Tai also finished tied for first in the tournament with the lowest average score on par 5 holes (4.83, -2) and in total birdies (10). She has now been the lowest individual in each of this spring's tournament (she tied with
Alana Gilbert in the Huntsville.org Intercollegiate).
Rosalie DiNunzio finished 38th with a 236 (+20, 74-82-80). Her 74 (+2) was her best rond since the 2024-25 season when she shot a 74 in the PFW Hammock Beach Invitational, helping power the team to a first-place victory in that tournament.
Right behind DiNunzio was
Sophia Florek, tying in 39th with a 237 (+21, 77-76-84).
Alana Gilbert finished tied for 43rd with a 238 (+22, 81-82-75), where she tied for the second-largest jump between rounds two and three by moving up 15 spots on the leaderboard to cap the tournament.
Keira Brazeau wrapped up the starting lineup in 87th, shooting a 258 (+42, 84-84-82).
For the individuals:
Gabby Cone placed 59th with a 242 (+26, 83-79-80),
Eliza Baker tied in 79th with a 254 (+38, 83-80-91), and
Nicole Feistl placed 91st with a 279 (+63, 89-94-96).
