Sprints/Hurdles
Indiana State posted at least one top-three finish in every sprint and hurdles event Saturday, including four event wins. Luigi Rivas led a 1-2-3 finish for the Sycamores in the 60m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 8.06 seconds. Rivas, Quincy Armstrong (8.19) and Daryl Black (8.40) completed a podium sweep in the event. The Sycamores also got a top-three finish in the women's 60m hurdles from Riley Tuerff at 9.06 seconds, with Ryann Porter following right behind Tuerff in fourth (9.28).

The 60m has become a specialty for the Sycamores this year and Saturday was no different. Noah Malone and Jarel Shaw took the top two spots on the men's side, with Malone (6.86) eking out the first-place finish ahead of Shaw (6.88). Ejiroghene Biokoro also recorded a top-five finish in the event on the men's side at 7.05 seconds. On the women's side, Mirlege Castor made her season debut as an unattached competitor and won the event in 7.76 seconds, while fellow Sycamores Daija Springer (7.80) and Kamille Gaskin-Griffith (7.83) placed third and fourth, respectively.

The men's 60m wasn't the only 1-2 finish for the Sycamores in the sprints, as Indiana State also had the top two spots in the women's 200m. In a race that came down to the finish line, Reynei Wallace (25.15) edged out Iyanla Hunter (25.18) for the event win, with both posting their best times of the season in the event. Sierra Long gave Indiana State three of the top four in the event after placing fourth at 26.76, more than a half-second better than her previous season-best in the event. Bryce Patterson led the way on the men's side with a third-place finish at 23.27.

Indiana State only had two competitors in the men's 400m field, but they happened to be two of the top three finishers in the event. Mitchell Cline led the way for the Trees with a facility-record time of 49.78, while Ben Shepard placed third at 50.68.

Mid/Distance
Indiana State continued its strong season in the distance events, winning four of the six events it competed in. Included in those wins was a clean sweep of the men's and women's 800m runs. Jocelyn Quiles took home the women's 800m title in her season debut in the event, crossing the line in 2:17.57. It was Quiles' second consecutive meet with an event win after taking home the 3000m title last week at Indiana. Devon Zeck also earned a top-three finish with a time of 2:25.26.

Cael Light was the only Sycamore to compete in the men's 800m, and he certainly made it count. Competing in the event for the first time in his collegiate career, Light came from behind on the final stretch to finish first in the event, crossing the finish line in 1:57.15.

Indiana State also got an clean sweep of the 3000m titles. On the men's side, Jason Dworak paced the field in 8:38.82 in his season debut in the event. Wesley Beitler (8:53.21) and Ian Gadberry (8:53.47) both earned top-five finishes, with the former competing unattached. Chloe Loftus shaved six seconds off her season-best time to win the women's 3000m in 10:42.43.

Maggie Falater was the lone Sycamore athlete to earn a top-three finish in the mile, placing third in a photo finish at 5:21.57.

Jumps/Pole Vault
Indiana State won all four jumps events it competed in Saturday, along with a sweep of the pole vault titles. Selene Weaver took home the women's pole vault title after clearing 4.00m (13-01.50), the first Sycamore women's pole vaulter to clear that mark since 2014. The mark also broke her previous facility record, which was set earlier this year. Landis Brandon cleared a season-best 3.78m (12-04.75) to finish second, while Brooklyn Giertz and Maddie Welsh both cleared 3.68m (12-00.75) to finish in a tie for third.

Callan Whitehouse and William Staggs took the top two spots in the men's pole vault, with Whitehouse claiming the top spot after clearing 4.82m (15-09.75). Staggs placed second after clearing 4.67m (15-03.75).

Despite some of Indiana State's top performers this season not competing this weekend, the Sycamores still managed to sweep men's and women's long jump and high jump titles. Mitch Conard and Dearis Herron took the top two spots in the men's long jump, with Conard (7.15m/23-05.50) edging Herron (7.10m/23-03.50) for the event win. Kevin Krutsch continued his strong season in the high jump, clearing 2.09m (6-10.25) to take home the title.

Indiana State swept the podium in the women's long jump and high jump events. Dominique Wood had a season-best jump of 5.43m (17-09.75) to edge out teammates Faith Frye (5.42m/17-09.50) and Brittney Walker (5.40m/17-08.75) in the long jump. Eva Grace Quinlan and Marisa Marshall both cleared 1.65m (5-05.00) in the high jump, with Quinlan earning the win. Kelsey Bowlds (1.60m/5-03.00) placed third in the event to complete the Sycamore sweep.

Throws
The Sycamores swept the three throws events they competed in Saturday, sweeping of the podium in all three events. Indiana State had each of the top six in the men's shot put, with Brett Norton (17.69m/58-00.50) besting Wyatt Puff (17.46m/57-03.50) for the event win. In the men's weight throw, it was Brandon Peck (17.31m/56-09.50) narrowly beating Noah Bolt (17.30m/56-09.25) to claim yet another win for the Sycamores.

In the women's shot put, Brittnee James threw a personal-best 14.97m (49-01.50) to take the event win, with Jayla Bynum (14.47m/47-05.75) being the only other athlete in the field with a throw over 14 meters.
