TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State is back on the links this upcoming week at the Butler Fall Invitational as the Sycamores take on the 15-team field at the Highland Country Club.
 
Indiana State will send out the same starting five from the season-opening Redbird Invitational as Molly Lee, Kristen Hobbs, Chelsea Morrow, Iyoun Chew, and Briana LeMaire will look to compete in the scoring column for the Sycamores. Freshman Eliza Baker will also make her Indiana State debut in Indianapolis competing as an individual on the day.
 
"Practice has been good for us this past week," head coach Greg Towne said. "The weather has allowed us to get the greens at Hulman Links firm and fast, which allowed us to really work on our green reading skills and short game awareness. We need to get more rounds in to get the freshman in a good spot for the season. Highlands is a really great track and Butler runs a nice event."
 
The Sycamores join host Butler, Austin Peay, Ball State, Bellarmine, Chicago State, Dayton, Evansville, UIC, Indiana State, IUPUI, Marshall, Northern Kentucky, Tennessee State, Valparaiso and Youngstown State in the field over the two-day event. The teams will compete in 36 holes on Monday in a shotgun start, while the final 18 will be played on Tuesday morning.
 
ISU will look to build off their season-opening trek to the Redbird Fall Invitational back on September 11-12 as the Sycamores finished 13th overall in the competitive field. Lee paced Indiana State through the 54-hole tournament finishing 31st overall in the field, while LeMaire posted her best collegiate round to date over the final 18.
