TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State women's soccer will travel to Des Moines for a conference matchup against Drake on Wednesday. First touch is set for 8 p.m. ET at Drake Stadium.

Last Time Out
The Sycamores hosted Valparaiso last Friday at Memorial Stadium. The match went scoreless for 94 minutes until the Beacons won it 1-0 on a golden goal. Lindsey Dusatko scored her second goal of the season with Dana Fish and Nicole Norfolk both recording an assist on the play. The loss dropped the Sycamores record to 2-7-1 (0-2-0) on the season.

Indiana State junior midfielder CeCe Wahlberg added two shots on goal in the contest to bring her season total to 17 which is second in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Sophomore goalkeeper Maddie Alexander made seven saves for the Sycamores which gives her 36 on the year.

Sycamore Stats and Notes
Freshman forward Mackenzie Kent leads the Sycamores with six points on the season (two goals, two assists). Junior midfielder CeCe Wahlberg leads the team with 24 shot attempts and 17 of those being on goal which is tied for second in the MVC. Sophomore forward Sasha Thompson is tied with Kent for the team lead with two assists.

This will be the eighth road contest for Indiana State this season. They have traveled over 3,000 miles to and from matches.

Matchup History
Indiana State heads to Des Moines to play Drake with the Bulldogs leading the all-time series 15-6-1. The Sycamores won the most recent matchup in the spring with a 1-0 win at Memorial Stadium on February 28. Katie Yankey scored her first career goal in the 73rd minute to put Indiana State in front.

The Sycamores are looking for their first win at Drake Stadium since 2013.

Scouting the Bulldogs
Drake enters Wednesday's match with a 5-3-3 (0-0-1) record on the year. The Bulldogs were on the road last Saturday as they played Evansville to a 1-1 tie.

Senior midfielder Libby Helverson leads the Bulldogs with eight points (three goals, two assists) on the season. Sophomore forward Emma Nagel is second on the team with five points (two goals, one assist) and leads the team with 17 shot attempts. Fifth Year Goalkeeper Kelsie Stone ranks near the top of the MVC in almost every statistical category with her 65 saves, five shutouts and a 6.5 saves per game average which are all good for first in the conference. Stone's .787 goals against average is second in the conference.

Lindsey Horner is in her 13th season as the head coach for the Bulldogs and owns a record of 109-100-33. She has led Drake to two MVC regular season titles during her tenure and has had 59 All-MVC Selections from her teams.

On September 12, Drake defeated No. 15 ranked Memphis 2-0 which was the highest ranked team the Bulldogs have defeated in program history.
